Yesterday, I was getting ready to go to work and when I went outside to my svt, Behold, a bashed out window. OH MAN,NO!!!! And like a moron I had left my wallet in the car and now it's gone with all of my health insurance, credit and debit cards. This was at about 4:45 am. The bad thing is one of the cards has my SS# on it. After all of the chaos of blocking cards and filing police reports I got a repair estimate for the window, One grand!! OH MAN,NO!!!! At least these are things that can be replaced or repaired. I just can't belive that the car is one year old and it allready is having another paint job on that side.
Later that day I got a call from a officer saying they found my wallet in a stolen car in the next state. I guess they broke into a few more cars down the road and stole two cars and almost ended after a high speed chase but, the officer had to stop because the chase had gotten too dangerous. Then they turned onto a dirt road and the chase resumed again but, the gap between them was so large that they were able to ditch the car and run on foot. The officer said the next closest unit was over half an hour away so there was nothing he could do. That's when he found my wallet among other stolen things. Only four of my credit cards were recovered which is better than none.
So, I just want to tell everyone to never leave anything with extreme value in your car or you may also earn the idiot title like me smile
