Okay guys, turns out I had pinned my secondaries CLOSED! Oops! That's why I thought it sucked! :rolleyes:
But today I pinned them open and HOLY COW! This thing is like dog-slow below 2800rpm and makes a moose-like noise. But suddenly at about 2800-3000 it just OPENS UP!!!!
It is like you suddenly gain like 20hp! Sorta VTEC-ish (is that a word)?
This is very cool. I suppose at the drag strip this would be useful and I will test it this Saturday. Around town, this mod would make driving worse. But perhaps with the EGR mod it would pickup the needed low-end oomph?
In short, I really must recommend this! Perhaps this is less noticable on SVTs because of their high power and more pull. But for us non-SVTs, WHOOHOO!
