You get wheel hop from launching at too low an RPM, or are you turning? I can get perfect no hop launches on both the SVT and SE. I don't really rev it, just jam on the gas and let off the clutch. No hop, just the perfect amount of wheel spin to stay in the rev range, and not bog. Then again, the SVT has bald tires, and the SE has stiffer springs than you.
