Well..........After replacing a tie rod end and both front stabilizer links, the springs were finally installed. $350 over the planned amount

.
Right after the springs were installed I had to make it over to get the new 910's installed, so I really didn't get a chance to test out the suspension with the old tires. After putting on the new 225-50-R16's I quickly realized that I had a major problem as soon as I hit my first dip in the road. Rear Tire rub

. I'm still not quite sure of what the tire is rubbing on but I sure as hell don't like it.
Anyway, being as stupid as I can some times be, I went out for the king of the hill. I felt the tire rub a bit when cornering going into the pits but I still proceded. I was lined up with a Beetle T and I spoke to him breifly about my troubles and that I may be no contest if I felt that I was causing any damage to my wheel wells/fenders. Well, getting off to go around the track to stage I drove into the ruff part of the track to see if my rubbing can be ignored. Of course it wasn't ignorable and I decided that I'd either get off the track now or ride it out. So, I rode it out (quite slowly)(I can be reasonable some times) and still had major rubbing happening. I lost by a fair margin.
*Sorry for the length of this* (venting)
I am severely pissed now that I have to work on the car some more and possibly shake the old money tree harder.
I'm going to post a "Wheel Rub. Help" in the tires and wheels forum but, if any of you think you can help ,please do so.

P.S. Only one good thing. The car looks damn good!
