KW sucks for automotive things too do...I think that we should petition the local gov't for a permit to build a Touring race track and a 1/4 track. Anyone else with me??? The closest 1/4 mile tracks we have are in London (St. Thomas) and down past Hamilton (Cayuga).

But, if u guys are at all interested in doing some runs...I "kinda" have an idea where we could go...

Hey...I just got an idea, why don't we run time trials around Ring Road at the University of Waterloo??? Hehehe...

Late at night when I used to drive my mom's old 87' Regal I would go to the running track of a near by high school and do a couple of quick laps. It was fun, but couldn't keep doing it for the fear of getting caught. I would only do 2-3 laps with the lights off and then jet out of there. I wish there were an oval place to go also (legally).

K-ace - What's your idea?

Hehe... I've done that a few times with an Escort I had. A gravel track, so it was cool trying to drift around the corners. Sure beats running the laps on foot.

OK guys, what are the details?
Someone come up with a place to meet, what area does everyone live in? I'm in the North end.
Also what about the time of the meet? I usually sleep in, but I'd get up for a CEG meet. What do ya say-9 o'clock or 10 o'clock?

I'm in the west end, and I never sleep, so anytime is fine.

Well, my idea would be to meet somewhere, a Tim Horton's or something, and then I know of an industrial park area that is fairly new and has a few straight aways and is kinda hidden away. It's the industrial area by Strasburg Rd & Bleams Rd. It's just an idea if anyone wants to do a lil' one on one 1/4 racing. Just a thought. However, I will not take responsibility if anything goes wrong, hehehe
Maybe we could make it a weekly thing like 16th & Woodbine in Toronto...who knows...
It could also be a time to meet and talk cars and everything.
Any other suggestions???
