Just got an e-mail from my friend Garrett, and he brings to mind a very interesting question. I'm on a 99 Sport model, he's on an SVT. He's going to run H&R Springs in back, Eibachs in front. Now, say I was to get the other way around, since he has two left over. Eibachs in back, H&R in front. We all know Eibach sits a little lower, but what would the final result be? Would my front end be sticking up or would it just even things out? Just thought I'd throw it out there.

When I look at a contour on Eibachs I still see a little of that "nose up/front wheel drive" look. A car on H&Rs has more of a "nose down/raked" look. Just an opinion. I thought about doing the same thing but was told they are engineered as a matching set and to not mix and match. So I went for the H&Rs/Koni setup. Best mod I ever did. Done. Chris 99 SE V6 5sp

The Eibachs drop the car evenly. The front fender line is higher than the rear line so it gives the front the appearance of being higher.
Putting H&R's on the front will slam the front and the Eibachs will slam the rear. This will probably give you the lowest possible ride height on a tour with progressive springs.
However, I am unclear as to whether or not this will upset the balance of the car.

Mystical your on CRACK eibach slam the **** out of the cars ass end. Its a pain in the ass. I know since well I have eibachs and since I have seen ppls rides with H & R's and the ass is alot higher and there fronts are nice and low. My damn back wont scrape if i put on the H & R's.....But maybe yer correct I'll soon find out, since its my lil pet project.

BUT the fender line (you know, the top of the wheel well) is lower in the rear than the front therefore giving the appearance that the rear is lower than the front. The rear tire is closer to the fender than the front because the front and rear fenders are different heights. Measure from the door ding guards to the apex of the fender line, front and rear. Am I still smoking CRACK or are you? Stinger00 has H&R's and I have Eibachs. We measured the front and rear bumper distance from the ground. My (Eibachs) rear was 1" lower than his while his front was .25" lower than mine. Thank you! Sometimes people just need to be spoken to Si MPly...

Well using some mathematical figuring out thingies (I need sleep), can you get me some idea of how far off the ground I'll be sitting. Don't forget I don't have the neat-o ground effects you SVT'ers have. Only reason I ask is because legal height around here is 4 inches of clearance.
