There might not be a Sno-Drift in my future. Work is picking up now that everyone is coming out of panic mode, and I can't get friday off. May still make it friday night, but it will be late, very late. Still hope to catch you up there.

Bummer bud. I'll try to take lots of pics. If my battery can take the cold. Maybe I'll bring old trusty Pentax K1000. Fully manual. It's the only way.

Mike-I'll give you a call tomorrow evening. I've been in Higgins Lake since Sunday but I've kept pretty damn busy! BTW, I was driving through Houghton Lake today and saw what I thought was black Cougar with wheels and and offset racing stripe. I just got a glimpse as I went by, he was at a .25 cent was down by Dairy Queen. Anyone you know? The weather up here sucks for Tip up town...damn near 50 degrees today and the snow is melting. It will be badass for the rally though...no icy roads this year, just high speeds and big rooster tails

Oh that's funny. I think that's the Cougar Redeker and I saw in that area on our way to LSPR last fall.

Customer's engine was not shipped in time to effect my weekend, and I got a call from the worker boss that they have an open room for us if we come up. Free food too if we work Saturday. So I may see you there yet. Look for me on the course somewhere. And if you haven't yet, check out the sno-drift website, maps...

Great news Chris! We'll be looking for you! I saw all the maps & times on the website, but me Mark & Greg will still probably head over Tomorrow to get maps, maybe even do some preliminary scouting Just FYI for everyone, most of the seasonal roads around here are now mud & slush. Temps are cooling off a bit now but they're supposed to be above freezing both on Friday and Saturday.

you saw the cougar. now some of you guys will know what i talk about in some of the stories i post. he's like a 25 yr old unemployed guy that has a purple zetec with like 120000 miles. no mods except for springs. oh and yellow painted stock rims to match the stripe. he has one hell of a system. thats it though. he says he has a turbo, sparco seats, and some kind of spoiler on the way. they must have gotten lost because it's been about 3 months. raced him and he thought he would "whoop me but not by much". i killed him, he thought he was catching up because i let off the gas. sorry about the story. just had to share it.
