I just wanted to say thanks and congrats to Chris for his hard work - as well as everyone else - also say that despite the weather we had fun and enjoyed what everyone had to show off. For those of you who live in the kalamazoo area, if you find your winter going by too slow, we can find a big empty lot at Western and shoot the sh*t, horse around, etc. M i n i-meet, so to speak. Until later,

Adam

Most definately a blast! Except that I was in the crowd that decided to take the wrong turn and get us lost for about an hour frown (you know who you are) wink

But, that was cool though because we got to hit some open roads where some of us let loose - and some of us ran out of gas laugh

Overall....very good turnout and a bunch of great guys!

Don't thank me! I was just the fortunate victim of some very special friends...I had NO idea this award was even being created, and I'm completely honored to be recognized. Seriously, I'm very seldom speechless...today I was and now all I can say is yes, I worked pretty hard on making the SVT/SHO Society something special, but so have MANY other people in this organization and it was (and still is) through ALL our efforts that the Society is a success and an organization of such devoted enthusiasts. I'm happy to receive this award, but I wish we could recognize EVERYONE involved; we've all worked hard and we all should be honored.

For those who are wondering what the hell I'm talking about...I was the receipent of the 1st SVT/SHO Society member of the year award, handed out today at the meeting, and will be handed out every year at this time to a member who I'm sure will be more deserving than me smile

Despite rain/snow (that was pretty much centered around Watervliet only) around 50 cars total made the trip; a good mix of Contours and SHOs, and this was easily our biggest meet ever.

EVERYONE should recognize and thank our new Prez & Vice Prez for this meet...Mark Rowe (worldtour) and Steve Chang (xchang) put in some long hours planning the cruise we went on, not to mention all the leg work for setting up the meeting location, creating the "driver's notes" for the cruise, setting up our dinner location, etc. They are 100% responsible for setting this meet up, and to them I say HELL YEAH!! cool

Until next year then....

I would like to thank Roger for leadin a few SE Mi ceg-ers out and back. I think that there was 10 or 11 cars at compuware. I tried counting while we were driving, so I'm not positive. The drive to Big T was cool I wish there were roads like that over her that I could drive on. It was fun to push the car on the turns amasing how the car handels. Especially going from 69 to 96 hell of a turn and I think we took it at like 60, remember that Roger? Definitely a year end blast, thanks to all who were involved.

Final car count was 45 cars in the snow, rain, wind, and cold.

Did anyone get pics of Brian and I as we drove by you guys in the Focus on the highway?
