Don't thank me! I was just the fortunate victim of some very special friends...I had NO idea this award was even being created, and I'm completely honored to be recognized. Seriously, I'm very seldom speechless...today I was and now all I can say is yes, I worked pretty hard on making the SVT/SHO Society something special, but so have MANY other people in this organization and it was (and still is) through ALL our efforts that the Society is a success and an organization of such devoted enthusiasts. I'm happy to receive this award, but I wish we could recognize EVERYONE involved; we've all worked hard and we all should be honored.

For those who are wondering what the hell I'm talking about...I was the receipent of the 1st SVT/SHO Society member of the year award, handed out today at the meeting, and will be handed out every year at this time to a member who I'm sure will be more deserving than me smile

Despite rain/snow (that was pretty much centered around Watervliet only) around 50 cars total made the trip; a good mix of Contours and SHOs, and this was easily our biggest meet ever.

EVERYONE should recognize and thank our new Prez & Vice Prez for this meet...Mark Rowe (worldtour) and Steve Chang (xchang) put in some long hours planning the cruise we went on, not to mention all the leg work for setting up the meeting location, creating the "driver's notes" for the cruise, setting up our dinner location, etc. They are 100% responsible for setting this meet up, and to them I say HELL YEAH!! cool

Until next year then....

-Chris
