hmmm, how did you get 225HP? What mods?
I hate to burst your bubble, but 99's without a wing are probably more rare then ones with one.

Hey I am sorry I bought the car from duthler ford in GR (I haven't had any problems with mine like many of you have) and they said that the car is a stock 225 horsepower not at the wheels but in the engine. If I am wrong whatever I could careless. I don't race this car. I use another to do that. I also figured that the wing was rare because I have only found 3 other SVT's of my year that have the wing on them. I lived down in FL for a year with it and saw none and when I came up here I have seen 3. So maybe you are getting out more or something or going to all these contour things I do not. I apologize for false advertising or whatever you want me to say. I take it back. IT IS NOT RARE. I am simply trying to get rid of this car so I can afford to do some more stuff to my other car and possibly find a cheap beater for winter.

just an FYI, not trying to be a jerk or anyhting, but stock 99 SVT hp is 200, and the car is actually pretty rare, just because it is an SVT, but as far as SVT Contour's go, a silver car of any sort isn't too rare. And because there is probably more SVT Contour's here in Michigan than anywhere else in the country, you are prolly asking a little bit too much for it. (A friend recently traded his 99 Green SVT Contour in (sans wing) and was VERY lucky to get $16k for it, even at only 20k miles)

I'm going to back Rara on that. The resale is crap on em. There is a 98 with 40k on the clock going for 12,500. Yes, it is a little older and 4k more miles but $4,500 is a difference between yours and his. Good luck though hope you can get rid of it for that. If you do let us know.
