While purusing the aisles of Home Depot today, I came across something that I think will work as a remote air hose. It's a vacuum hose from a Ridgid Shop Vac. Here's a picture of it:

What do you guys think? Will this work? The inside of the hose was smooth so it shouldn't constrict airflow. The diameter is 2.5" if that matters.
