I saw a post a little while ago (think it was Redcon96I4) re. the switchable transmission in some ATX's. So I set about looking for some more answers. Haynes manual states that the switch is in the shift panel of the center console, so I looked under to see if there were any extra wires.... (I was hoping that all wiring was the same, regardless of what options and trim!) Well after some knuckle scraping retreiving a screw I dropped into the shift assembly, it turns out that I did not find any extra wires for a dual mode auto tranny
But it was fun all the same.
Did Ford put this on any Contiques in North America? Is the CD4E modable other than with a chip?
