After a year and a half, my SVT developed the dread moose last fall when the weather turned cold. I did the TH fix and killed the moose. Throttle response seemed ok, so I was satisfied. When the weather turned warm again this spring, I used the A/C and found the car was VERY difficult to drive smoothly - really felt like there was no low end power. So I took out the plug and was suprised at how much better the throttle response was. I don't want to go back, or maybe I need to change the hole size next winter.
This seems to go against the above post that suggests a smaller hole in the summer. I get better warm weather response with no plug at all.
