I don't know that you'll see any performance gains from this mod, but the "throttle hang" was certainly improved. I've had mine in for 15K miles without any draw backs. Although I have an ATX, the return-to-idle time is much quicker. The step down to normal idle is also faster and more pronounced when the engine is first started. (95s have OBD1 computer which seems much slower at this) The TH fix also reportedly cures the moose howl that occurs with the v6 intake system.
I believe the "more responsive car" mod refers to the EGR restrictor. This has also been trouble free for 12K miles and "feels" like it really works, especially on my ATX.
