Then what would you suggest that I do in this situation?
What I was planning to do was to have a prolonged engine build up (4 years) since 8 months out of the year I dont live at home (200 miles away) and thats where it would be stored. I just want to have the experience of rebuilding an engine and I figured that since I will be tearing the whole thing apart that I might as well through some aftermarket parts in to it. I will admit that I dont have everything planned out yet (thats the purpose of this topic), but when it come to machine work and the like there are multiple speed shops around. So I do have different routes to take in the case that I experience troubles.
Anyway, since you know what your talking about more than I currently do Terry, What course of action do you suggest I take? Your turbo option has been in the back of my mind lately, mainly because the thought of running 12.5:1 compression and certainly well over 91 octane doesnt settle in my mind.
