Most modern engines use O2 sensors to regulate the amount of fuel the engine computer is sending the engine.

Hector-I have been saving for quite some time to do more-or-less the same thing. I sent an email to zxtuner.com about whether or not the Kamikaze header will fit and if I can return it, but you answered that question. I guess I have to choose between rims and a new exhaust system. Decisions, decisions...

Well not so quick. I still have to go to the exhaust shop and God knows how much this is going to cost me.

I got something rigged up for the front o2 sensor. I am going to the exhaust shop on Saturday to get the downpipe either modified or a custom downpipe made. There will be updates and pics soon.

At least we don't have to worry about the cat. I just love those FLA emissions tests.

Why yes, I have updates. I am the 1st Contour with a header. I took it to the exhaust shop and they tapped the o2 sensor on the other side of the header (due to the spacing problem; look at 1st post). They had to make the downpipe and they tapped the 2nd o2 sensor. The hi flow cat was relocated in place of the flex pipe. My 1st thoughts is IT IS LOUDER! I can feel more mid range power and a little more low end power. I will hopefully get numbers soon.

WARNING! This costly project! I paid $275 for the black header (they don't have any ceramic). I paid $180 for the exhaust modification and $75 for the high flow cat.
