Ford recommends 87 grade to run in these.My dad is a shop forman for A GMC dealership, And he says that running higher octane gas can help you run better but can hurt the engine too.Most GM recommend 87 to because that is what they tune the car computers to run.Running a higher octane is okay but your car if stock is not tunned to run that.You may have a problem or you may not.If anytime you run higher octane gas you will always run better because 93 octane ignite's faster than 87 wich means it less work for the engine.But it also will be hotter.
