Does anybody know if there is a remote oil filter kit that can be put on our cars. I like the idea of have a dual filter setup. Any info will help. Thanks

I'm not sure if there is a kit specificly for our cars but what can the difference between oil lines really be? Look at another kit to see how they hook in and compare the lines. To be honest I'm no expert on this AT ALL. Just my opinion.

I'm pretty sure most dual filter kits could be made to fit our cars...about your only obstical would be finding the space to mount the components. Search through the 'Performance' and 'Mods' forums from the last 6-8 months...I remember a thread about this same thing for the Duratec cars. All the info should apply to our engine as well. HTH.

Amsoil makes one that replaces the spin on. Problem is newer cars have no place to mount, no room under hood.

I think it could be done in the same area that the current filter is just mount it to the fire wall. It wouldn't be easy to mount but it would be easier to remove the filters.

Thanks for the info guys it really helps, now would it be any benefits besides easy oil filter changes, I find mine really easy to change.
