I have a SuperChip for sale. It was for my Zetec ATX, albeit a different code from yours more than likely. It's $150 and you'd just have to send it to Warren at KKM or another dealer to get it flashed.

The leader in Ford performance, Kenne Bell has a chip for all of your vehicles. They custom burn each one, at no additional cost and with their switch chip you actually have 2 chips in one, with a switch to flip to either one. You can have stock/performance, racing/performace, racing/stock, towing(not really applicable for the Zetec but it is for my V-10)/stock or towing/performance. The bad thing about chips is you must run premium fuel at a much higher cost, which is not so bad with a 25 MPG vehicle, and chips advance the timing and increase the fuel going into the engine. After awhile you start to build up gunk, carbon and unburned fuel, so it's nice to be able to switch back to the stock programming, save some $$$ on gas and clean out the engine. Plus the chip really firms up your automatic shift points if you're running the automatic which greatly extends the life of your tranny by making it slip less betweens gears, which in turn lets the tranny run cooler. Heat is the #1 killer of transmissions. Plus you can raise the rev limiter, and remove the top speed limiter if you want. And all for a couple hundred bucks. Look Kenne Bell up @ www.kennebell.net and check em out.

How does Kenne Bell custom tune a chip in GA from Long Beach, CA?

I thought you had to custom tune a chip while on a dyno?

You can (according to Superchips) send in a dyno sheet and they can semi-sutom burn a chip.
You actually need to send in a couple dyno runs from different days, and its only customized from the computer code program.
I did it, and IMHO, it was worth the extra money.

Does Kenne Bell subscribe to the same definition of "custom" tuned chips?

Probably.
Superchips said it would gain 1-2 HP in a few spots versus the computer code program.
Every HP counts on a 4 cylinder.
