I recently had my injectors cleaned by Ford while they were doing warrenty work (Moon roof) and OMG!. I went crusing that night and in crusing manner raced a Mustang (V6) and kicked his ass laugh I couldnt believe it, made the ATX downshift around 30 and went to 70, the damn thing threw me back in the seat. Its never done that before. I would suggest that you get those injectors cleaned. After all, more fuel = more power.

I'm becoming increasingly convinced that my recurring CEL is a fuel delivery problem. I tried a fuel filter and cleaner in the tank... I should try another bottle of cleaner in the tank because it's been a while, and if that doesn't do it, see if I can pull out the fuel rail and get a look at those injectors.

I do that every time I change my oil... but I bet a pro cleaning would still help mine out.

You can feel the difference from those cleaners when you add them, but soon lose the power. I'm sure they help to clean a little, but the only way they would really work is to use them often as soon as you buy a car new. There are yearly cleaners and 3000 mile cleaners. They burn good, so if you ever need some extra power(not for street racing though wink ) add one to your tank.

Redcon is right. It is really just a temporary fix. It does a good job cleaning your fuel filter though! The best thing to do is have them professionally cleaned.
