Hmm, here is some perspective to throw you all into a loop!!
I have a ZETEC 95 in my tour, its a manual. I have raced a 95 civic Si and guess what , i beat him by about , well his nose was at my wheel!! So i dont see the problem, maybe you had a bad launch, but then again ,you have no idea how much that auto kills the ZETEC, i can smoke and i mean smoke my cousins 96 mystique zetec with no problem!!
So i only have a few mods, look at my sig, and i did this as soon as i put on my SS Ractive muffler...... tell me what yo guys think!

but it can definetly run with older hondas (non SI of course). Hey, go ahead and try the CRX out. I made no mention of the MTX Zetec if you notice, comment directed at ATX Zetecer who admitted to talking smack. In the words of Bill O'Rielly - "am I wrong?"

A crx only weighs like 1800 lbs! Even a tiny engine could give you some competition.
Oddly enough, that shape allegedly has a lower coefficient of drag than we have (.29 vs .31). How can that be?
96 GL Zetec ATX, white with pinstripe, nickname " Sam Smooth " mods so far: CTA intake with homemade heat shield, KVR drilled front rotors & carbon pads w/ 500° fluid planned mods: exhaust (want to keep it quiet), e-ram (awaiting installation), diablo chip involuntary mods: compression increased after head gasket failure

Suggest you enjoy the other nice features of your car like the sweet handling while refraining from further "smack talking". Good thing I got a MTX [/b]Too bad your car is still slow!

A crx is seriously about 1000 pounds lighter than you. While the engine if stock only has about 85-90 hp you may have your work cut out for you. Be careful cause there are a lot of hybrids with B18Cs in there which is 170 hp in an 1800 lb car. Do the math. Good Luck!
