well i finally got up enough courage to hack off my resonator. My buddy and I disconnected all the hangers and removed the entire exhaust from the resonator back. Then we used a hack saw and cut of the resonator and the muffler. I replaced the muffler with a dynomax super turbo. We welded on a 2 inch pipe to replace where the resonator was, and we welded on the muffler. The super turbo is pretty loud especially without the resonator but is pretty deep and not too abnoxious and i defintely noticed power gains. Im really happy with the install and the muffler. Total cost was $40 for the muffler and $4 for the pipe. A good deal if you ask me.
