haha laugh [/b]
That video is what is keeping me stable until the kit is released.I hope the price isn't too much different than the CTA. Give or take 40 bucks is ok. I am just one of the average poor college students trying to mod my car on low funding.....when will it end

I want one! I was also planning on getting the CTA in a couple of weeks, but I think I can hold out a little bit longer.

BTW, for all of you w/ '95-'97 Zetecs, Keith and I discussed how to get around the problem w/ the crankcase ventilation and I believe he settled on a solution. To my knowledge, that was the only difference between 1st gen Zetec vs. 2nd gen Zetec (as far as the intake is concerned).
Also, on 95-97 Zetecs the IAT sensor is a screw in unit, but on the 98 and up its a push in sensor. I think this was the major thing about the distinction between the pre 98 and post 98 CTA intakes.

I'm interested. I was seriously thinking about the CTA intake as my first mod but... I live in WI. Where is the opening of the intake? Will I need to take it off in the winter?

Won't have the cash for at least a month tho. frown

For this solution, us 95-97 owners might have to get a universal breather and put that on with a little modification to the factory hose. I will try to post pics tomorrow on what I did with the breather. The IAT can be moved to some other location and do its thang.

I wasn't really refering to the placement or location of the IAT but to the difference in size of the two different sensors(requiring two different size holes for the separate models runs) The pre 98s IAT is a screw-in sensor and has a larger diameter body, and will need a larger whole to plug into. As far as relocating the IAT its a PITA, take it from some one who's done it, the original wring harness is very short and clipping and soldering in those close confines isn't fun.

I wasn't bashing you for bringing it up, I am just giving solutions to get this intake out quicker.

On another note, my wriring harness is just fine, however I did have to cut the plastic mold a bit to get where I wanted it.

But thanks for the heads up on the IAT, OhsigmaChi.
