WHat do you mean your cars shift at 3000? mine when I push hard and that is not to the floor, could easily go up to redline..but usually I back off before that happens . and rarely let it do that anyway.. actually I could never get it floored since rpms get to their maximum before I even need to.. mind you though, this does not mean that the car is fast or powewrful, but my engine just revs up easily but you don't get that much pull out of it anyway.. sort of embarrasing I think sometimes. esp with someone with you in the car.. you see you get a lot of noise but you feel nothing .. I actually see my friends glance the rpm s with a quick look .. that's when I back off, so they don't see it was at 5000 rpms(((-:
