You mean VCT on the exhaust cam?

If you get adjustable cam gears you can buy an adapter piece that eliminates the VCT on the later cars. Of course it will also throw a MIL but that could probably be gone around. I already have my gears and have no qualm with eliminating the VCT...the MIL will be a little annoying but oh well. I would think with the new gears you would be able to use the Esslinger Heads that zxtuner sells.

Yes, Yes CAM, I know, my wife was talking to me when I was posting...anyway, getting rid of the VCT on a pre 98 zetec should NOT throw an MIL because the cars never had VCT to begin with, they have EGR. Now getting rid of VCT on a post 98, hmmm you could do it but a custom programed chip would be in order I think.
