Unless they're coming out with a new American Mondeoid very soon, this seems like a pretty reasonable and timely decision.
I don't want to miss that intake manifold, though. I wonder which way the TB will end up pointing? Who knows, maybe the intake could end up being a straight pipe... or maybe, depending on configuration, the S shaped piece of the CTA without the elbow.
