Different intake runners will cause different effects to an engine. If anyone here can remember the old Chrysler long rams of the `60s. They sat the carbs out over the wheelwells. The theory was that they increased the torque because of the runner length. They also had a fuel puddling issue.

Adding this spacer under the TB would, in theory, increase the length of the intake runners on our cars.

I am doubtful though. Kind of like that one where they put a chopped up pop can in the intake claiming that it will cause your incoming air to form a cyclone. :rolleyes: What happenes when that cyclone hits a half open throttle body?!?!
