So what would this new manifold cost, roughly... and would the TB still sit in more or less the same position?


96 GL Zetec ATX, white with pinstripe, nickname " Sam Smooth "
mods so far: CTA intake with homemade heat shield, KVR drilled front rotors & carbon pads w/ 500° fluid
planned mods: exhaust (want to keep it quiet), e-ram (awaiting installation), diablo chip
involuntary mods: compression increased after head gasket failure

How will an upgrade intake manifold effect emissions? Will it flow too much air for the cat to keep up with?

And no offense, but the CTA is a better set up than that HKS or whatever pictured above because it gets rid of that cruddy accordian pipe and ridiculous plenum.

Nice thought on the cold air pipe though laugh
