OK time for me to jump in on this... Ok for your Zetec or any engine best thing to do with the oil is use a mixture, or say 3.5 qts of Mobil Drive Clean and 1 qt of Mobil Syn. That is what Syn oil was made for, not using all syn, it was made to go with your normal oil, it doesn't make any difference if you use all syn or only .5 qt or 1 qt, it all does the same thing. As for the pureone oil filter YES they do make them for the Zetec, I had one on my car on my last oil change. Now I have a FRAM and it isn't any different. Just my 7 cents worth of useless information.

SQ sorry I didn't save the box to get you a P/N but I had one on my car so I know they exist. I called it useless information for that reason, I was telling them what I have been told by mechanics, that is the only reason I haven't switched to synthetic oil. But seeing the reaction to this I see someone is wrong.

Can you do me a favor then? Next time you have your oil changed(or if you do it)could you make it a point to get the part number for me? It'd be much appreciated, by me and many other Zetec owners. If it does in fact exist I'd like to try one and see how it does.
Please keep in mind that I certainly wasn't placing blame or calling you ignorant. But, as you said, there is definately a descrepency(shut up Joe)here that should be sorted out. Good luck. No hard feelings I hope.
