Well I must say, I hammer the hell out of my car. I've racked on about an honest 400 miles of Solo 1 road racing and about 7 Solo 2 events to date since I purchased the car March of 2000, definately alot of hard right sweepers. What I do is if the oil level is near max I just go ahead and add about 3/4 of oil more to the engine and it seems to have worked for me so far. Hope I don't JINK's myself into an engine failure by saying this....LOL
