actaully most of the racing series you mentioned use a hybrid tranny called a sequential shift trans. It has a stick (or paddles for F1, Indy, and CART) but no peddle, its not a auto and its not a manual, what they are is and $35large apiece
As far as dragsters go they have sort of the same thing, only they have an individaul lever for each gear. Very pricey also.
