ebay there is a cheap one on ebay, ends soon

was just reading throught and my fathers 95 SE has a electronic speedo, my 95 LS has a cable driven speedo. I have a zetec and my father has a duratec so that could be the difference

I found a 95 zetec cluster (with tach/cable speedo) and ~60K miles, for $69 to my door!

Anybody want to buy an Autometer 2 5/8 black face tach already calibrated for the Zetec (ATM-3708). Look in the classifies.

OK, here's the deal. i got my "new" cluster w/ tach and cable driven speedo, but the tach won't come on. I even was able to take out the odo and add 15000 miles to it, to match my original, non-tach cluster...

HOWEVER, when I couldn't figure out why everything was working, EXCEPT the tach (sweep at startup, but no movement when engine running), I popped the cluster back out and looked at where the actual tach plugs into the cluster, there are 3 pins. One says "sig", so I trace it on the board to the plug socket, and find the corresponding pin on the plug, only to be staring at a blank spot (I guess my car just wasn't meant to have a tach).

So all I need to know is does my car still have a tach signal wire (even though it is not in the factory gauge plug). If so, anyone know the color/location?

Disregard my last post. I think I may have shorted something out-battery keeps dying.

I am leaving it alone for now. Anyone want a 95GL 4cyl cluster with tach? 75K mi.

i might want it, buti have the same car as you (95 Contour GL) so im hoping it'll work! Tell me what i need to look for (signal wire??) and ill see if its there, if not, i'll need to find some other solution

I still have it and there is a pic but not very big.

My 99 Mystique has one. There is a 4 under the needle center.
