I know the Contour is the Tempo's replacement but does anyone know how much of the chasis and so forth changed between the two? The reason I'm asking is that my friend just bought a Tempo that has AWD and I would think that would be cool on a Tour! I have seen a couple Mondeos with AWD anyone know if that stuff will work? I heard someone here was trying to figure out something with putting AWD in the Tours but I forgot who.

A whole slew of aftermarket stuff but mainly engine work. The list is really long so I decided to save us some bandwidth by taking it out!

I don't think there is really anything similar about the two cars.

I believe the Mondeos classified as a 4X4, not an AWD. You might want to swing around to fordmondeo.org and ask some questions there. I honestly don't think it would be an easy/inexpensive swap though. Buying parts for it would be a pain too. Getting all the parts across the pond would be a big enough hassle.

You would probably be better off getting an older GSX, you would probably be into it about as much as that.

Already had two of them a 92 GSX and a 94 TSi. They were fun little cars and I would love to have another one. I'm just trying to create the ultimate contour.

Thats how all Cosworth engines are mounted, it is possible to mount them the 'normal' way but would cost a lot more wonga.

And the only Focus Cosworth I know of is actually RWD, unless your talking about the prototype that ford released pictures of...?
