Oh okay, I guess that does make sense. Since CF is like fiberglass...it has to be laid on to a pre-existing shape, for the most part, in order for it to work. I didn't think about that. So I'll have to stick with the stock shape then...for now.
How much weight reduction are we talking about here? 15-20 pounds? I'm not sure how much the stock hood weighs but they're pretty heavy.
The final finish on this stuff we'll be pretty heavy duty right? Its made so you can run around without any extra coatings or paint or anything right? Would if develope problems if a bra was used on a CF hood? Being a different finish than paint would it scratch or discolor easier?
