has anyone looked at the svt focus on the ford website? i wonder how much trouble it would be to turn my zetec into that engine. any ideas?

I would suggest just buying the whole car. It has a special transmission you would probably have to swap too. Gertrag 6 speed- nice...

Keep the 5 speed. Its stronger. The Focus RS has the 5 speed.

As far as the engine you'd need the Intake, Heads, Cams, Pistons, Crank, Headers, and PCM...Oh and the Fuel system.

There's more to it than it seems. It would prove to be more expensive making a standard Zetec into an SVT motor than it would be to buy the SVT motor outright.

How can an engine that produces only 145 ft-lb of torque and 170 HP stress any transmission?
