Probably not, actually... a different head would affect the compression, but would not affect the bore x stroke. To do that you'd need either a different block & pistons, or a different crankshaft & rods. I don't think anybody's changed those.

But then, off the top of my head I seem to remember a figure closer to 1950cc than to 1990...
