There are two ways to go on that. Getting the tool from Ford is not one of them. Ford charges like $80 and makes you wait a month.

What we did for my engine was just take a chunk of flat .25" steel and mill it down to .2" with a drill press -- it wasn't pretty but with care it can be kept accurate enough by checking your work with a micrometer.

The other thing you could try is to just stack up some blocks and feelers to add up to a total of .2".

As mentioned, this is for alignment only -- not for bracing it to undo the gear bolts.
