Me too. My basic was MCRD San Diego...we didn't have it easy like the Parris Island guys, we had to do all our laundry by hand.

Funny thing is, after I got out of the Corps and spent some time in college, I joined the Army ROTC officer program. I'm getting commissioned about May 10th.
Its funny how life takes us down these different paths.
