And sometimes it's for a short period, sometimes for a longer one. REALLY makes me mad... come on Ford, design a belt cover that leaves enough room for the belt. I should do that washer mod thing... What I don't undioerstand is why, I would think the belt, when cold would not slap as it is tighter then when warm? Anyone know? Mine has been doing it for years also, 65,000 and new belt last year and still slaps.
