Ah, yes. I have crossed the 100 mph mark, myself. 110, to be exact. Tell me, what gear were you in? I'd bet 4th w/ about 300-600 rpm left, right? Good fun... laugh

1st) ~35
2nd) ~65
3rd) ~103
4th) ~147

This is assuming 205/60-R15 tires and using the gears listed in the FAQ and plugging the values into
this webpage.

Woops.. that's for the automatic...

Here's 5spd..

1) ~30
2) ~46
3) ~68
4) ~96
5) ~129

Supposedly, final drive on the Zetec is different than the Duratec, so those numbers might be off a little bit, but they should be close, and that's the only gear I have to go by (read: too lazy to find the final drive for the Zetec MTX-75)

Electronic speed limiter...it would get faster w/out this.

I've had an indicated 135MPH in my Mondy smile That's in 5th gear, around 5800RPM (rev limiter cuts in at 7200 but peak power is just over 6000). It had room for more but I quit at that point.

Yep, European Mondeos dont have a Speed limiter so the 2.0L is listed even by Ford as topping at 135mph is standard trim (and we know it actuall goes faster)

Hey Perry... thanks for the answer...
But these are "calculated" speeds.. right ???

How about real speeds x RPM ??

I guess u don't have a tachometer neither...

Does anyone else have it ??

Are the values pretty close to those given by Perry ??

I don't know... but I thought i could develop more in each gear.. i think those numbes may be wrong....
