What I mean is the stick itself, just above the pivot ball, hits the mounting block (the support part around the mounting ball) on shifts into second, sometimes 4th.
Does this happen to anyone else? If I try to shift hard into second, it won't let it "pop" unless I hold it there for a second.
When I installed the B&M my shifter was also hitting the metal base when shifting to 2nd. 4th gear is fine. I just took the metal base back out and ground some of it down with a dremel,just where the shifter touches the base.Now the shifter will only lightly tap the base only when shifting aggresive.Normal shifting=no hitting.
