Can't remember what else I've raced. But I lost my share of races.

I've never hit my rev limiter. I know that in 3rd gear i've hit 82mph @ 6200rpms, and in 4th i hit fuel cut off at 113mph @5800 rpm. Has anyone else hit their fuel cut off.

out drove and beat a 00 v6 stang...on a highway around my home...4 kids in his car only me in the tour...it was fun...he stomped me from the light...but we were going along and the passenger was like yo man sweet car! i said thanks...more like i yelled thanks as we were going like 45 50 mph....

when he said that i punched it and my exhaust just screamed! he yelled oh SH!T!!! and i started pullin on him...(he was a bad shifter) and we raced up the highway aways...i love how our zetecs hang with other cars in the uppers!

i have been killed many a time as well...lol

but this was a fun one...plus they said they liked my car...and they werent poking fun at it either, they truly liked it!...its nice to get respect from other people who appreciate nice cars

both the v6 and zetec will hit the limiter in 4th at around 6 grand i've hit the fuel cut off in 5th gear with my V6 mystique. same spot as 4th gear
the only "trick" i've hear of is getting up almost to the limiter putting it in 5th gear then turning on the cruise control and using the acceleration button on the cruise to "cruise" past the limiter. i haven't tried that yet.

comin home from my gf's house i found myself at a light with a new silverado truck nothing special but he was reving up really high i just sat inchin foward then the light changed, little bit of spin on loose gravel and my little zetec took off he let off when my spedo was reading about 70. never underestimate our zetecs!

i guess pontiacs are fair game, but i think its more about who is behind the wheel than what is under the hood.
