That is untested. The picture they show of the install is not on a contour it's a Focus. I think they just assume it will fit.

SORRY ABOUT THE MIX UP IN THE WEB PAGE ADDRESS FOR SCA IT IS SCARACING.NET. THE TURBO IS SHOWN IN A FOCUS AND THE ENGINES ARE THE SAME EXCEPY SOME MINOR DIFFERENCES. I AM A CONTOUR OWNER AND I AM A MECHANIC SO I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

So what would the differences be that would stop the supercharger from working. Like I said it's vertualy the same motor.

I got the same e-mail from magnusson, but I fired it back asking if they had ever fit it on a Contour and that they may want to try as there is a whole other application that may be right under their noses...

Lets hope they just never thought about it.

To me a turbo would seem useless in the zetec. Why? The zetec runs on low rpms. Turbos require high rpms for effective boost. Notice how honda engines runs up to 7-8000 rpms before redline? that high rpm allows for enough exhaust output for effective turbo boost. Unless you tune the zetec to run at high rpms it might not be the most effective power upgrade.
