Hi Guys (and Gals) I sincerely wish that someone would come up with a definitive solution to the Zetec overheating problem that Ford insist is not a problem. I have added an Oil Cooler to my Tour with the hope that it would have alleviated the problem no such luck, however, in that it now takes a bit longer for the temperature to read high on the gauge but it stills read as high as ?L? and sometimes it appears that it will enter the red zone. It should be noted that this only occurs when I use the AC when I drive without the AC the temperature fluctuate between ?M? and ?A? which I can live with in light of the fact that the cooling cuts in when the needle reaches ?A? on the gauge. Consequently can anyone give a definitive answer to the following 1) Can the twin fan used on the post 1997 models fit pre 1997 tours. 2) It there any tried and proven modification in existence that can alleviate this chronic and severe problem. Any and all suggestion/advise will be greatly appreciated.
