Hi Guys,
I just called my Ford dealer and got some major runaround. Can anyone tell me how much a new Zetec engine costs? Thanks

Probably in the neighborhood of $2000 brand new. I've seen that number thrown around on a few different bulletin boards.
They go for around $900 at junkyards around here for engines out of 99 and 2000 Contiques. Around $600-$700 for 95 or 96 engines.

Chris I called around to some of the junkyards here in Utah and I found a Zetec from a 98 Contour with about 50,000 on it for $800. Try using this to look for places that are closer to Phoenix. Good luck.
