I'll throw some fuel on the fire. I've owned three Contour, including a Zetec, so I've gotta be qualified|allowed|whatever to post here.

The SVT is a better car!

Now calm down, here comes the rabbit punch. Your car does not make you who you are, it's just a thing you have. (No not that thing)

Buying an SVT Contour in no way makes you a better person than someone who buys a 200KMile 95 GL Zetec or whatever.

It is how you treat other people, do your job, take care of your family, your belongings, the planet, etc that does a better job of defining who you are.

So don't feel bad or envious if you don't have an SVT. And don't think that what you have makes you what you are. They are two entirely different things.

However, if you let "what you want" get out of hand, it can make "what you are" a very bad thing.

Ok, enough philosophy, back to the flaming.
