My car kind of had a problem like that, when I put new plugs and wires on it it really helped the idle, my car is much smother. YOU are to gap the plugs at 50 for a zetec, but I did that, and for two days I fely just like before, so then I gaped them at 46 and ny car idles a lot smother, hope this helps
