Right around 750 for me. The chip makes it run rougher, but I really think it's because the belt is worn (timing).

Looks like someone gave you a 1 previously. Will need more 5's to bring it up. BTW - would you be so kind as to return the 5-spot?

{I do hate spam, but that isn't really part of my email address. Remove the string ?HatesSpam? from the email address ?BobHatesSpam@blaylock.to? to email me. No advertisements. Spammers will be dealt with very harshly!} ------- Moonlight Blue 1996 Mercury Mystique GS , Zetec engine, ATX. No mods. (Well, OK, one mod. Before I got rid of my previous car, a 1994 Tempo, I swapped radios. I liked the Tempo's radio better. That counts as a mod, doesn't it? I also kept one of my Tempo's wheels to use as a spare. I hate those stupid ?compact? spares that come with modern cars. Does this count as a mod? If so, I guess I have two mods. Replaced burned/melted blower switch and connector on 19 February 2002 with a 1P3T toggle switch from Marvac and a Molex connector from Rat Shack; I guess this now makes three mods.)

Get a Coil Pack from Accel and your RPM will stay at 900rpm.. That with the air on and the heat on too. I have it in the LX and the Zetec. One of the best mods I have done. Take a look at http://www.jegs.com/ It 54.99 part number 110-140018 and you will like the way the car run after the install... if you don't let me know and we will get you MSD or something. P.S This is my Second Post
What do you know about the A-Train????? 98 Cool ZX2 Superchip,MSD,Autolight Gap .60,Magncore Wires,Accel Coil Pack,CCII intake with Monster Air Filter & Ram Air,Strut Bar,EGT Rear sway bar with ES,SS Brake lines,KVR Brakes F/R,EGT rear Brake Conversion, ES Motor Mounts,17'Konig Monsoons with 205-40-17 TOYO.

Thanks Drumnut. I went and gave you a five. Funny thing is I play drums too, although I haven't in any sort of band for about 10 years now. Sold my kit too.
