Ask Marine98se.....he got tons of HP and Torque from his Diablochip. He had no solid proof of it, but that is what he claimed. Ask him, he will tell you....

How much do you think I could pick up a used Superchip for? I know someone who is selling one and I want to know what I should expect to pay.

Maybe $150. They don't lose their value after being used. Just a little chip, no moving parts to break over time. Then another $45 to get it reprogrammed by Warren. And you still come out ahead.

That's why I'm selling the Superchip so cheap. I could have gotten $150 for it but that Diablo chip is the way to go. I mean sheez...all that HP gain AND TQ?! You'd be a fool to believe....er... not get it! Marine98sefullofgarbagenosense will be the first to tell you of all you can get from it. Should be able to compete with a Modena but should easily take a VR6. I'm guessing with the gains of the Diablo you should be able to totally blow away the SVT Contour. I see no reason to get the V6 OR SVT when you could save tons of money, get the chip AND TOTALLY GET THE SAME POWER!! You tell me...it's your money. Where's Marine98 anyways? Remember the troll under the bridge story?  John

Amid all the sarcasm I'm now totally at sea as to whether a Diablo is or is not better than a Superchip.
Is either one a sensible mod for a daily driver?
96 GL Zetec ATX, white with pinstripe, nickname " Sam Smooth " mods so far: CTA intake with homemade heat shield, KVR drilled front rotors & carbon pads w/ 500° fluid planned mods: exhaust (want to keep it quiet), e-ram (awaiting installation), diablo chip involuntary mods: compression increased after head gasket failure
