Don't be too quick to sneer at 130 mph from a standard Zetec.
My Mondeo 2.0 has the same engine and I've had 125 out of it (confirmed on GPS). No mods. Straight and level (M45 for those who know it).
Monkeyra has had similar speeds out of his 1.8, and I believe that was *before* he removed his cat
